亨利·里维埃是法国版画家、水彩画家和影戏设计者，也是19世纪末法国彩色版画复兴的重要人物。他长期描绘布列塔尼海岸、巴黎城市景观与旅行途中所见，并从日本浮世绘吸收高视点、裁切、平面色块和天气表现。木刻、彩色石版与水彩在他的创作中彼此转化，使海浪、雨雾、港湾和现代城市兼具观察的准确性与装饰性的节奏。
